Brabus and DAB Motors have unveiled a trip of exquisite electric motorcycles that up the e-bike ante.
There was a moment, standing before these machines in the buzzing heart of Milan’s Tortona district, when the air seemed to hum with restrained power. The faint scent of premium leather and cool carbon fibre. The glint of exposed weave catching the Italian light. The promise of silent, instantaneous torque that made the city feel suddenly, exhilaratingly small.
At Milan Design Week 2026, BRABUS and French electric motorcycle specialist DAB Motors presented their world premiere: three exclusive electric machines that blend German precision, French design philosophy, and pure, unapologetic luxury on two wheels.
The DAB 1a BRABUS, the BRABUS URBAN E, and the ultra-limited BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION mark the luxury tuner’s bold entry into high-end urban electric mobility.
Carbon, Leather and Instant Heartbeat
Each model wears the unmistakable BRABUS signature—sharp body styling, generous swathes of exposed carbon fibre, and that quiet confidence only true performance houses possess. The rider’s seat on the URBAN E becomes a masterpiece in its own right: quilted “Shell” pattern leather in vivid red, hand-stitched with obsessive precision.
On the FIRST EDITION, the entire motorcycle is cloaked in one of four supercar-inspired hues—Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet or Fusion Red—with matching leather that turns the bike into wearable art.
Beneath the sculpted fairings lies a sophisticated 72-volt lithium-ion battery and high-performance electric drivetrain. The entry-level DAB 1a BRABUS delivers 23 kW (31 hp) and 395 Nm of wheel torque. The BRABUS URBAN E pushes further—27 kW (37 hp) and a staggering 475 Nm—thanks to optimised mapping, enhanced cooling via custom carbon ducts, and a special inverter for sharper response.
Both reach a top speed of 120 km/h and offer up to 150 kilometres of urban range. A carbon belt drive keeps things silent and low-maintenance, while charging from a standard 220-volt outlet brings the battery back to life in roughly three hours.
Designed to Stop Traffic, Built to Move
The BRABUS URBAN E (above) elevates the experience even higher. A monocoque-style tank-seat fairing, vertical daytime running lights integrated into air scoops, a projector headlamp, translucent LED taillight, and CNC-machined aluminium levers create a machine that looks as fast standing still as it feels in motion. Five riding modes—Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous and Reverse—let you dial the character from efficient city glide to instant-overtake thrill, with a ten-second Nitrous Boost for when the moment demands it.
Handling is equally refined: fully adjustable inverted fork and rear shock, lightweight chassis, and powerful Brembo brakes with dual ABS ensure the bike feels planted and playful whether carving Milan’s cobbled streets or opening up on the outskirts.
The BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION takes exclusivity to another level. Only ten units will be produced in each signature colour, each finished with colour-matched frames, fairings and leather. These are collector’s pieces as much as daily riders—machines that announce their presence without ever raising their voice.

Priced from €16,900 (US$19,945) for the DAB 1a BRABUS to €32,500 (US$37,510) for the FIRST EDITION (excluding VAT), these motorcycles are for those who refuse to compromise—on performance, on presence, or on the sheer pleasure of movement.
