Perched on the 25th floor of Landmark Prince’s—directly linked to the flagship Mandarin Oriental—Terrace Boulud offers sweeping views over Victoria Harbour and Central’s glittering skyline. It’s the hotel’s first dining venture outside its own walls, extending its renowned hospitality into a dramatic alfresco setting that feels both timeless and thoroughly modern.

Having hosted Hong Kong regulars at his New York spots for years, chef Daniel Boulud, a titan of French cuisine, finally gets to cook in their hometown. “I first experienced Hong Kong in the mid-80s and was captivated by its vibrant food culture,” says Boulud. “It has long been a wish to open a restaurant here.” He credits collaboration with Mandarin Oriental’s leadership and designers at Malherbe Paris for creating a space that honours his traditions while embracing the city’s dynamic spirit.

Menus That Capture Heritage & Innovation

The menu draws on Boulud’s four signature muses: La Tradition (classic French dishes), La Saison (market-driven specials), Le Potager (vegetable-forward creations), and Le Voyage (global influences). Expect timeless brasserie fare reimagined with contemporary twists and premium regional ingredients—think refined yet approachable plates perfect for sharing.

During the soft-opening phase, dinner service is available alongside terrace bar snacks and drinks. Full lunch and dinner menus roll out mid-April, with afternoon tea to follow later. The à la carte offerings pair beautifully with an impressive wine list, creative cocktails, and curated brews. The real draw? That sweeping rooftop terrace, ideal for golden-hour aperitifs transitioning into late-night gatherings under the stars.

It’s a “tropical brasserie”: joyful, colorful, and alive, blending French sophistication with Hong Kong’s warmth and vitality.

This launch kicks off Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s transformative renovation—a more than US$100 million overhaul reimagining guestrooms, suites, public spaces, wellness areas, and dining while safeguarding its heritage. Full completion is slated for Q4 2026.

As Group Chief Executive Laurent Kleitman noted, Terrace Boulud previews the sophistication and creativity defining the hotel’s next era.
